Two times Bundeschampionat finalist and winner of 1.50 m jumping classes. Sire of the champion foal at the German Foal Championship 2008 and the foal that sold for the record auction price of EUR 120,000. 2008 was a successful year for Quintender. The majority of his foals are very popular lots at diverse auctions, reflecting Quintender’s own outstanding sporting achievements. This handsome, thoroughbred Holsteiner won the Bundeschampionat qualifier in Warendorf twice and did exceptionally well in the final. These days, Quintender and his rider Helena Torstensson are impressing the crowds in 1.50 m classes with a perfect bascule. His sire, Quinar, is a successful international show jumper ridden by Jos Lansink. With Quidam de Revel in his gene pool, Quinar is one of the best modern-day show jumping sires around. Maternal grandsire Contender, whose offspring have won a total of EUR 5.4 million, is one of the leading Holstein stallions with a proven ability to produce quality dressage and show jumping horses. Licensing champion Lord is in the third generation of Quintender’s bloodline, adding yet another performance horse producer to this impressive pedigree, which is rounded off by legendary thoroughbred, Sacramento Song xx. Quintender descends from a consistent dam line. Granddam B-Estelle produced VDL Cardento, Peter Eriksson’s Olympic team silver medal winner. International show jumpers such as Leonardo/Franke Sloothaak and the approved stallions Cardenio, Cyranos, Leandro, Quinto de B, Capitalist, Colorit and Randi/John Whitaker are descended from this Holstein 741 line.
