Sometimes it is as if the stallions didn’t get their names by chance. Eurocommerce Washington is one of these: in his box, under the heat lamps, in the warming-up arena and in the competition hall Eurocommerce Washington always radiate something of his namesake- he has something aristocratic about him, also in the way he moves. It is as if an important statesman is passing by such as George Washington, the first president of the United States of America who did everything he could for his country. Just as the stallion Eurocommerce Washington will do everything he can for his rider. Being fast off the ground, possessing scope and much suppleness are the qualities of this stallion who at present is housed in Argentina where he is being successfully bred. In the spring of 2009, Eurocommerce Washington will once again be available for Dutch breeders. In Germany, a young Washington x Lux is having a lot of success and has already won a number of competition classes. Clooney, a full brother of Eurocommerce Washington won, together with Marc Houtzager, the class for four-year-olds at the CSI Twente.
