Eurocommerce Vancouver’s sire Le Tot de Semilly was, just as was his son Diamant de Semilly (see Eurocommerce Toulouse) active in international sport under Eric Levallois. They won, among other things, team gold at the EC Young Riders in Cervia in 1984. This stallion line has gradually become a rarity because it doesn't go back to the tremendously extended line of Orange Peel xx (Ibrahim) but instead to that of Ultimate xx (Grand Veneur).
Eurocommerce Vancouver's dam is a purebreed Anglo-Arab thoroughbred with, according to the rule, her percentage of Arabian blood accurately in two decimal points after her name. Perpétua du Crocq 45.21 % is out of Fangio AA who is a son of the legendary Arlequin AA- also a sire to the Oldenburg show jumper progenitor Zeus. Perpétua’s dam Vertu AA produced, with Rif du Crocq AA and Véloce de Favi AA, two licensed stallions and, what is more, the international show jumpers Hélios AA of Patrick Caron and Nabab de Mouliot AA of Olivier Desutter. The breeding family is unusually fertile; Perpetua du Crocq AA (1981) produced ten foals and her grandam Vertu AA (1965) as many as sixteen foals. After Eurocommerce Vancouver had been licensed by the AES in December 2001, this was followed in the spring of 2004 by a license from the KWPN. In his performance report he had a 9 for scope and an 8.5 for jumping aptitude whereby he was not only the best of the those specially bred for jumping but he also came throught the test as the overal champion.
