He is black; black as the night- except for one small spot on his left front leg. The saying ‘There is no cow so black that it doesn’t show a white spot’ applies, thus, also to Eurocommerce Samorano. The sparkling, lively eyes shine in the head of Eurocommerce Samorano. He is still a young and playful stallion but in his work he displays an excellent attitude which should be the characteristic of a good sport horse. The desire to work and to keep clear of the bars are the necessary qualities that no top horse can do without. Eurocommerce Samorano is long-legged, strongly built and, because of his excellent attitude, has never shown work to be too problematic.Studbook Hannoveraans

In November 2006, Samorano received- for his 70-day test in Adelheidsdorf, 113.34 points for dressage and 122.78 points for jumping for which, in these disciplines, he finished in eighth and sixth place respectively. His total index was even better: he ended with 123.47 points in fourth place out of 33 participants. Exactly one year earlier he received the green light from the jury in Verden and for a price of 32,000 euros moved to The Netherlands. At the time he was the most expensive of four Stakkato sons of which three are licensed. In Hanover, Stakkato is a sort of national hero: at least among show jumper horse breeders because this still rather young foundation sire (born: 1993) meanwhile has been responsible for the revival of the virtually disappeared S-line of the Trakehner foundation sire Semper Idem. Stakkato is active in the CSIs under Eva Bitter and has been top of the league already for a number of years in the German breeding values assessments for jumping. In the special Hanoverian show jumping horse programme, Eurocommerce Samorano’s dam Wienerwürstchen scored for walk a 7, trot 9, canter 8, ridability 7 and for loose jumping a 9.5. She is by Wienerwald out of Domina, sire: Don Juan-Servus-Graf Douglas-Abhang II (fam. II-917); her full sister Wienna has her own earnings of 7,500 euros and had her mare test in Texas, USA. The American Hanoverian Society awarded Wienna with an 8 for technique, a 10 (!) for suitability and a 9 for overal impression. Taking all the above into account, the 10 mark leads us to believe that our Eurocommerce Samorano can develop into a real cracker.
