In the Bavarian equestrian sports centre München-Riem, Eurocommerce
Pennsylvania was immediately awarded a license under his given name Grand Pilot. A good half year later he succeeded at the same location for his 100-day test where, with 120.277 he came second out of fifteen participants. For dressage he scored 112.956 (3rd) and for jumping 120.634 (also 3rd). Eurocommerce Pennsylvania is also licensed by the show jumping horse stud book Oldenburg International. In January 2005, Eurocommerce Pennsylvania’s full brother followed in his footsteps. The system had been changed meanwhile and Grand Pilot II, two months after his approval, took his 30-day test. Result: dressage 7.78 (13th), jumping 8.76 (2nd): a total of 8.29 (6th out of 18). Jumping talent is apparently anchored in the family.
Sire Gambrinus, under the München student Kristian Kniha, became the Junior European champion (team) and reserve champion (individual) in 2006. Eurocommerce Pennsylvania’s dam Goldfee is a born Westphalian and her sire Pilot is, as far as fame is concerned, equal to Eurocommerce Pennsylvania’s grand sire on his sire's side, Grannus. Her dam Goldperle is the great grandam to the BWP stallion Breemeersen Adorado. Out of this line comes too the international show jumper Edgar (sire: Espri) of Heinrich-Hermann Engemann, and later of Joe Fargis. Goldfee’s great grandam Winkelbraut, bottom right in the pedigree chart, produced the Celler state stallion Nebelwerfer (sire: Novum xx).
